WLCG Operations Call details

• At CERN the meeting room is 513 R-068.

• For remote participation we use the Alcatel system. At 15.00 CE(S)T on Monday and Thursday (by default) do one of the following:
  1. Dial +41227676000 (just 76000 from a CERN office) and enter access code 0119168, or
  2. To have the system call you, click here

• In case of problems with Alcatel, we will use Vidyo as backup. Instructions can be found here. The SCOD will email the WLCG operations list in case the Vidyo backup should be used.

• RAL: Noticed some problems with GGUS alarms which were not propagated correctly to the site.
• RRC-KI: Since April the site is connected to T1s through OPN except FNAL, shall be done soon. Currently breaking tape/disk storage elements for ATLAS into different dcache pools, should be finished by end of this week.
• Storage: NTR
• Grid Services: SHA2 certificates automatically added to the LHCb VO this morning. ATLAS will follow next Wednesday 14th of May.

• You are encouraged to join the 4th MW Readiness WG meeting Agenda, where the T0 & T1 practices for publishing versions in operation and the usage of the baseline versions' table will be also discussed.

  • Everything remains pretty quiet! Usual processing continues.
  • I took the time to go through some GGUS tickets. I got some stale tickets to VO support closed out. We are now seeing more tickets in GGUS rather than Savannah as some of our operations teams have started to migrate. But there are no active urgent problems for T1's.
