Requesting access to LHCOPN twiki (hosted by CERN's twiki)

These steps must be followed, and will be validated, only for users deeply involved in LHCOPN .

Read access to the twiki

The LHCOPN part on CERN's twiki in nearly fully public, i.e no account or login is required to access most of the information (for instance this page or https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LHCOPN/OverallNetworkMaps).

But some parts (https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LHCOPN/OpsPrivateArea and children - Change management database, TTS users list etc.) are read restricted to users having a twiki account, i.e listed on https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/Main/TWikiUsers .

To request such an account you need:

• A CERN account (could be a light one), you can apply here if you do not have one yet: https://cernaccount.web.cern.ch/cernaccount/RegisterAccount.aspx
• Then after login twiki registration is here: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/viewauth/TWiki/TWikiRegistration (put in field "CERN affiliation": LHCOPN)

After validation (manual, can take some time) of your account you should be listed on https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/Main/TWikiUsers .
Then after login you should be able to see private pages like https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LHCOPN/OpsPrivateArea

Write access to the twiki

Write access to theLHCOPN twiki is granted to a subset of recognised users within the twiki user list. To obtain write access to the LHCOPN twiki you need:

• Read access to the twiki, steps detailed above (If you still have a twiki account there is of course no need to request another)
• To contact by e-mail John.Shade@cernNOSPAMPLEASE.ch requesting write access to the twiki and giving your CERN's account details

When done and validated you should be able to edit topics, for instance https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LHCOPN/ChangeManagementDatabase#AnchorSandbox (edit tab on top right of the page).

When having successfully obtained access to the twiki next step should be requesting write access to the LHCOPN TTS: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LHCOPN/TTSdetails#Requesting_Updating_accesses_to (this page is reading restricted).
