Uncertainties

Derivation of STXS Stage 1.2 uncertainties is in progress. Work on documentation will only commence afterwards.

Inclusive Cross Sections for the LHC at 27 TeV

Predictions for the inclusive gluon fusion production cross section of a Higgs boson at the LHC at 27 TeV

Inclusive Cross Sections for the LHC at 13.6 TeV

Table with cross section predictions for ggF

Boosted Higgs

Ongoing benchmarking. Note is in circulation.

A temporary ad interim recommendation is to use the NNLOPS code with the default set-up for top mass effects.
This has been benchmarked against more accurate perturbative codes. See this talk for further detail.

Note: Recommended predictions for the boosted-Higgs cross section, on cds.

Study of bottom quark mass effects in the Higgs transverse momentum distribution

Ongoing - early 2018.

Benchmarks

Production cross section

Explicit predictions for the Higgs boson production cross section via the gluon fusion production mode according to ihixs. These predictions were calculated for the HL-LHC YR. For full Run 2 analyses , please continue to use YR4 predictions where all mass points are available.

Uncertainties were estimated using the prescription of YR4. N3LO QCD corrections are here no longer approximated by a threshold expansion (compared to YR4) resulting in a small change of uncertainties and central values.
