  • Cracks in brass gas tubelets
    • change to stainless steel whenever possible
    • check chambers already made, using epoxy
    • evaluate overall costs
    • look into treating some brass tubes
  • Service integration in the chambers
    • use H8 to perform first integration test
  • Gluing of alignment platform
    • Need to understand what went wrong, how to improve procedure
  • Positioning of alignment platforms
    • need procedure to calibrate or cross-check

  • Known difficulties in some of the groups
    • Lack of funding for Greek institutes (~1MCHF)
    • Lack of funding for additional manpower to complete RPC chambers on time
    • Lack of funding for Chinese institutes (~500kUSD)
    • Slow production rate of large TGC chambers at Weizmann
