For the selection of events one can refer to two kinds of numbers.
The first one is used on the cards NEVT and DEBU, the second one on SEVT.
Event selection card. The first number corresponds to the run number. Then, you can specify any number of events. If you want to specify a range, the upper limit must have a negative sign. This card has priority over SRUN and IRUN. You can have as many SEVT cards as you want.
Example :
SEVT 10 45 56 -70 101Events 45, 56 to 70 and 101 in run 10 will be reconstructed.
Run selection card. Here you can specify the run numbers you want to process. If you want to run in a specific range, the upper limit must have a negative sign. This card has priority over IRUN but will be ignored if you specify SEVT.
Example :
SRUN 1 -60 120Runs from 1 to 60 and run 120 will be reconstructed
Runs to ignore. Here you can specify the run numbers you don't want to process. If you want a specific a range, the upper limit must have a negative sign. This card will be ignored if you specify SEVT or SRUN.
Example :
IRUN 1 -60 120Runs from 1 to 60 and run 120 won't be reconstructed
Select a range of events according to the sequential number
Example :
NEVT 1 -50 ! Reconstruct the first 50 events
