Data Cards

The data cards used by JULIA can be generated automatically, by the JULRUN EXEC on the IBM or by JULRUN on VAX. One can also start from the JULIA.CARDS file (JULIA CARDS I on IBM) and edit it.

The minimal set of data cards for reading a data set, performing complete event reconstruction, and writing a standard output consists just of the two cards FILI and FILO.

The rules for the syntax of the data cards (comments, continuation cards) are given in the BOS-manual [2].

In the section 'Overview' a one-line comment for every card is given. Apart from cards described in this section, cards replacing a bank from the data-base can be used. The bank number on the data card should be -1 in order to take precedence.
