is given, QFNDIP is called automatically and the results are stored in the main vertex variables (sec 8.4 on p.  ).

Warnings: The event-chunk beam position and therefore the interaction point determined by QFNDIP is NOT available for real data taken in 1989 and 1990. It is available for all Monte-Carlo data.

QFNDIP must be called before calling the b-tagging package QIPBTAG (sec 12.5).
