Call: CROSS_SECTION_IDENTIFIER
Should on input contain the Magboltz cross section
Number, i.e. the index in the
rates vector returned by
the DRIFT_MICROSCOPIC_ELECTRON procedure.
Use the SIZE function to find the length
of the rates vector.
[Mandatory argument, no default.]
Contains on return a String
which provides information about the cross section term.
Usually, the first 15 characters contain the Magboltz name of the
gas while the last 45 characters are the Magboltz cross section
description.
Any contents of this argument on input will be lost after the call.
[Mandatory argument.]
Contains on successful return one of the following
Strings:
- Attachment
- Attachment, usually one such cross section per molecule
- Elastic
- Elastic scattering cross section, usually one per molecule
- Excitation
- Scattering with energy loss producing an excited state
- Inelastic
- Scattering with energy loss, but not leading to an excitation
- Ionisation
- Ionisation, usually one per molecule
- Super-elastic
- Scattering in which the electron gains energy
[This argument is optional.]
