A normalisation transformation is composed of a window and a viewport, and is referenced via an integer number.
Normalisation transformation 0 is pre-defined by GKS and corresponds to window limits of (0,0) and (1,1).

The limits are expressed in normalised device coordinates, i.e. the system in which (0,0) is the lower left hand corner and (1,1) the upper right hand corner.
Note the order of the arguments, which is different from the usual order of window specifications in Garfield.
