OPTIONS

&FIELD: OPTIONS

CHECK-MAP-INDICES

This option is meaningful only if the electrostatic field is taken from a field map. The option has no effect if the cell consists of wires and planes.

When on, an explicit check is made for every point where a field interpolation is requested, that the point is located in one and only one triangle or tetrahedron.

This option is of interest only for debugging purposes. Switching the option on will usually increase CPU consumption considerably.

[This option is off by default.]

CONTOUR-ALL-MEDIA

Requests that contours be drawn across all non-conducting media.

This option is ignored if the field is computed from wires and planes.

[This is default.]

CONTOUR-DRIFT-MEDIUM

Requests contours be drawn exclusively in the material that has been designated as drift medium.

This option is ignored if the field is computed from wires and planes. The option is honoured only if the dielectric constants are present in the field map.

[Contours are by default drawn in all media.]

WIRE-MARKERS

If active, wires will be plotted as markers and not as circles with the size of the wire.

For further information, see the WIRE-MARKERS option in the cell section.
