From the EC report on the DSA1.4.2 - Annual Release, Maintenance and Support Report (M24):
This deliverable focusses on addressing the support activities carried out during the second year of the project which have mainly covered the software release and RfC management processes governing the software being produced by EMI. Much work has been carried out to accommodate the extensive recommendations made last year. It is of concern that the High Priority issues seem to take the same amount of time to resolve as lower priority issues. It could be that just because an issue is high priority, its solution does not have to be more complicated than a low priority job. The data should be examined more closely as it would be expected that more resource is allocated to a high priority task than others and that this would reduce the elapsed time before a solution is found. If not: why pay for a “Gold Service” or report an issue as High Priority?
