Comment on the (re)-configuration with YAIM (Issues/Warnings/Errors found when configuring, services which should be restarted, etc.) workarond applied as suggested by Cristina Aiftimiei :

cp -f /opt/glite/yaim/node-info.d/emi_dpm_mysql
/opt/glite/yaim/node-info.d/glite-se_dpm_mysql
cp -f /opt/glite/yaim/node-info.d/emi_dpm_disk
/opt/glite/yaim/node-info.d/glite-se_dpm_disk
and change the first line of the new glite-se_dpm_mysql from:
emi_dpm_mysql_FUNCTIONS="
to
SE_dpm_mysql_FUNCTIONS="
respectively the first line of glite-se_dpm_disk from:
emi_dpm_disk_FUNCTIONS="
to
SE_dpm_disk_FUNCTIONS="

After applied the workaround, the yaim configuration fails with this error:

ERROR: No DPNS database schema version information found. Exiting.
ERROR: Error during the execution of function:
config_DPM_upgrade_mysql
ERROR: Error during the configuration.Exiting.
[FAILED]
ERROR: One of the functions returned with error without specifying
its nature !

i then removed manually the dpm and dpns dbs and the configuration ran fine.
 
Comment about the functionality of the service - Refer to the Service Reference Card in the Documentation (- Have the deamons started/restarted OK - Does it pass minimal functionality tests - Any problem about normal production usage to report? ) test  
Any other comment or suggestion for improvement test
