Client types

Producers

Producers produces synchronization differences. They are WAN distributed.

Consumers

Consumers consume synchronization differences. They are WAN distributed.

Destination types

For a give destination type:

• instances number: 400
• messages content: LDIF synchronization information
• messages size: 0 to 100K
• format of the messages body: LDIF
• messages lifetime: 2 minutes
• maximum latency: <2 minutes
• permanent connected producers and consumers
• security requirements: producers should be verified

For a given destination instance:

• 1 producer, 1 message every 2 minutes
• 20 consumers, 20 messages every 2 minutes

For a given destination type:

• 400 producers, 400 messages every 2 minutes, <10 messages per second
• 20 consumers, 20*800 messages every 2 minutes, < 100 messages per second
