EGI-TF 2010 accounting session

Jon Nilsen gave an overview of EMI's plans for storage accounting and asked for requirements for storage accounting from EGI and the user community.

John Gordon (session chair) pointed out the importance of working with OGF to make the chosen storage accounting records standard.

John Kennedy (OGF and WLCG) was eager to help out with writing documents, OGF forms and such.

There was then a brief discussion of various possible requirements and challenges, but no real requirements surfaced.

Outcome:

• Established contact with John Kennedy (OGF, WLCG) and Andrea Cristofori (OGF, WLCG)
• Requested storage accounting session at OGF30.
