Workplan for the first year

The infrastructure area of the EMI project will provide a EMI blessed solution for messaging.

During the first year of the project, the investigation of how such messaging infrastructure could be useful for the services of the compute area will start (the goal is to finalize such investigation by the mid of the second project year). As a result of such investigation, a set of use cases for which this common messaging system is assessed as useful, will be identified.

Implementation

Possible use cases:

• Integration with job provenance systems (e.g. LB)
• Integration with accounting systems
