General issues

GridFTP is out of scope.

GridFTP (gsiftp) uses the GSI GSS to secure the control channel of an FTP session. This process depends on the Globus library.

It was decided that GridFTP's dependency on Globus is out of scope for the SRMSEC group. The issue may be address by some other group either concurrently with SRMSEC or at a later date.
