RRD is running on lxgate30 currently as root.
There are 3 main projects there for the moment.
They are all located under
/var/www/html
Tier-0 setup is in rrd_t0_prod
IO monitoring (not yet running as a crontab job, but should be started today) - setup is in rrd_io
JobMonitoring is in rrdtool2
They are all running as a crontab job. The actual content of the crontab job as of today can be found in
~dboard/public/crontab.rrd
Before shut up of the machine, it is better to stop crontabs in a clean way.
After restart better to run in the manual mode to allow to catch up the gap.
To do so, look in the first python which is called from the crontab shell script.
Normally it starts with 'update', search for 'manual', you would need to setup
the flag 'manually_update', and time stamps - 'manually_update_start_time' and
'manually_update_end_time'.
Then run the shell script. When the gup is refilled, the job can be restrted as a crontab.
In every directory from mentioned above there is link to log directory, where one can see
whet is going on.
CMS people should be warned about stopping of lxgate35.
