&DRIFT: DRIFT: WIRES

angles

Limits the angles under which electrons or ions leave the wire.

The angle range should be specified in degrees. The x-axis is at 0\° while the y-axis is at 90\°.

[Drift-lines are by default started from regularly spaced points around the wire. The setting is kept from one call to the next.]

The number of drift-lines from each wire.

A similar option exists for EDGES and SOLIDS, but separate settings are maintained for each type of plot.

Please note that this LINES option has no link anymore with the LINES command in the drift and signal sections.

[Default: initially set to 20. The setting is remembered from one call to the next.]
