OPTIONS

&SIGNAL: OPTIONS

CLUSTER-PLOT

Requests that, while SIGNAL runs, a plot be produced of the track, the clusters, the electron drift-lines and the drift-lines of the ions produced in the avalanches.

When FOURIER is set to NONE, ions may appear to start from another periodic copy of a wires than the copy where the electrons arrive.

The electron drift-lines are plotted with representation E-DRIFT-LINE, the ions with ION-DRIFT-LINE.

The various elements of the track are shown with their respective representations.

[This option is initially on.]

CLUSTER-PRINT

Requests printing of a table of clusters.

On certain systems, the graphics and printed output appear on the same screen. If both CLUSTER-PLOT and CLUSTER-PRINT are desired, it is on such systems advisable to redirect the printed output since the output of these 2 options is produced simultaneously.

[This option is initially on.]

CONTOUR-ALL-MEDIA

Requests that contours be drawn across all non-conducting media.

This option is ignored if the field is computed from wires and planes.

[This is default.]

CONTOUR-DRIFT-MEDIUM

Requests contours be drawn exclusively in the material that has been designated as drift medium.

This option is ignored if the field is computed from wires and planes. The option is honoured only if the dielectric constants are present in the field map.

[Contours are by default drawn in all media.]

WIRE-MARKERS

If active, wires will be plotted as markers and not as circles with the size of the wire.

For further information, see the WIRE-MARKERS option in the cell section.

CHECK-MAP-INDICES

Requests a verification of the map index calculation.

See the CHECK-MAP-INDICES option in the field section for further information.
